After lunch we spend some time at Berry Springs, enjoying a swim in its natural pools, or perhaps take a walk through the monsoon forest and wetlands, where a variety of bird species make their home. With more than 100,000 armed forces personnel having been based in the area during World War II, remnants of this history can also be found here.
