Today in Grundarfjörður, embark on your chosen activity. 

Freedom of Choice – Lava Trails  Experience Icelandic culture on this half-day tour. Start with a scenic fjord viewpoint, then visit Bjarnarhöfn Shark Farm to learn about hákarl, a traditional shark delicacy. Savour the rich flavour accompanied by the local schnapps, Brennivín. Next, perhaps enjoy a short climb at Mount Helgafell, where local legends promise three wishes. Alternatively, listen to stories of local heroines connected to this site. Finish with a scenic drive back to Grundarfjörður. 

Freedom of Choice – Snæfellsnes Peninsula  Tour the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Take the journey through several small fishing villages that hug the coastline to Snæfellsjökull, the glacier made famous by Jules Verne's novel 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth'.
