What level of mobility is required?
You must have good health and mobility to travel with MoaTours. For Health & Safety reasons you must be able to use the steps to get on and off our coach unassisted. All our tours require a certain amount of walking. You must be able to walk at least 100 metres unassisted and be comfortable walking on uneven ground. Our Kiwi Guides are not able to provide individual support so if you need additional assistance it's essential you are accompanied by a travelling companion. We strongly recommend bringing a walking stick or a hiking pole for extra stability and to help prevent tripping. Due to health and safety considerations, we are not able to cater for walking frames, mobility scooters, wheelchairs or crutches on our tours. If you have any concerns, please call our office team on 0800 662 462.
