Day 2: Explore Copenhagen’s Palaces and Harbour

Day 12: See Alta’s Rock Art and Huskies
After a Relaxed Start, you choose how close to Alta’s ancient past you want to get: time in the town centre, or a visit with your Local Specialist to the UNESCO-listed Rock Art of Alta. At the carvings, your eye follows lines cut into weathered stone, thousands of marks left by early Arctic communities. Later, the Lyrek family welcomes you to their working husky farm, where an oven-baked lunch brings regional flavours to the table, perhaps fresh Arctic fish or reindeer with crisp salads and wine. Afterwards, you meet Alaskan huskies bred for endurance and speed on the snow, along with the next generation of pups who may one day race across the Arctic.
Day 13: Wartime Norway: Kåfjord to Narvik

Continue to Fauske for lunch at leisure before travelling through the beautiful mountain landscapes of Saltfjellet. At the Arctic Circle Centre, pause for an epic photo beside the monument marking this famous geographical boundary at approximately 66°33' north. You’ll reflect on how this invisible line is associated with two of the Arctic’s most extraordinary natural phenomena: the midnight sun and polar night. At the Royal Palace, you'll pause by the broad square and Palace Park, where lawns, old trees and small ponds sit alongside the neoclassical lines of Norway’s royal residence.
