Stand beneath the Great Pyramids of Giza and the ancient Sphinx, then explore the quieter pyramid sites of Saqqara and Dahshur. Continue north to Alexandria’s Roman catacombs before travelling by 4WD into the Western Desert to Siwa Oasis, the Oracle of Amun and the Great Sand Sea. Meet local female artisans, tuck into a homecooked meal with locals and spend the night sailing from Aswan on a traditional felucca. End in Luxor among grand temples, royal tombs and monumental statues – an epic adventure.
