Sri Lanka: Women's Expedition

Spend 12 days meeting the artisans and entrepreneurs who are making a difference for women in Sri Lanka. With an all-women group of travellers, you’ll have a cup of tea with the ladies who run roadside stalls in the tea-growing Nuwara Eliya district, visit an organisation producing reusable sanitary pads for women and girls experiencing period poverty, stay at Sri Lanka’s first fully female-run hotel and take a city tour of Jaffna on the back of a local woman's motorbike. Hike a stage of the Pekoe Trail with guides who grew up in the communities along the trail and are now carving their path in a traditionally male-dominated industry. Throughout the trip, you’ll be welcomed into the homes of local women who will share their traditions, meals and stories with you.
