This morning, travel to Moraine Lake (season permitting) and spend time marvelling at the glacier-fed waters. Afterwards, travel to Banff. Day 15: Ketchikan
Today, dock in Alaska’s fascinating Ketchikan, a coastal town rich in Indigenous Tlingit culture. Enjoy the day here exploring its many sights at your leisure before reboarding your vessel as you cruise further north through Snow Pass and Decision Passage en route to Sitka.
Day 16: Sitka
Savour a full day in remote Sitka, the oldest town in Alaska. Home to the Tlingit people for thousands of years, Sitka has a distinct Russian influence having been colonised as a Russian settlement from 1799 until the region was sold to the USA in 1867. Today, delve into the town's history and culture, and explore its natural beauty and diverse ecosystems at your own pace.
Day 17: Hubbard Glacier
Today, cruise through Yakutat Bay to North America’s largest tidewater glacier, Hubbard Glacier. Marvel at this impressive natural wonder, with its ice face stretching approximately 11 kilometres wide and rising over 100 metres above the water’s surface, as it extends into Disenchantment Bay. Be mesmerised as your ship is surrounded by spectacular scenery.
Day 18: Inian Islands, Icy Strait Point
Enjoy another fantastic day of sightseeing. First, you’ll reach the Inian Islands, a small archipelago rich in remarkable wildlife. Set against the striking backdrop of the towering Saint Elias Mountains, the islands and their surrounding waters are home to a vast array of wildlife, including humpback whales, orcas, sea lions, sea otters, brown bears and bald eagles. After your time here, continue to the unique Tlingit community of Icy Strait Point on Chichagof Island, where a range of activities are available.

Day 19: Haines
Relish a full day in the beautiful seaside town of Haines, often referred to as the ‘Adventure Capital of Alaska’. Boasting many fascinating attractions, surrounded by postcard scenery, and home to incredible wildlife, including the world’s largest concentration of bald eagles, Haines is a joy to explore. Enjoy time at leisure or set out on an activity before reboarding your ship as you continue cruising along the Lynn Canal, one of the world’s longest and deepest fjords.
Day 20: Juneau
Alaska’s capital, Juneau, sits at the foot of Mount Roberts and Mount Juneau on the Gastineau Channel. Flowing from the Juneau Icefield, the magnificent Mendenhall Glacier lies just beyond the city's doorstep. Widely regarded as one of the most remote and breathtaking state capitals in the United States, this picturesque destination is surrounded by pristine waters, lush forests and rugged mountains, offering endless opportunities for outdoor adventure. Day 21: Tracy Arm or Endicott Arm
The entrance to Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness is surrounded by imposing, snow-capped peaks amid spruce, hemlock and red cedar forests. Here, Holkam Bay splits, with Tracy Arm to the north and Endicott Arm to the south. In the farthest reaches of each arm, enormous tidewater glaciers calve dramatically into the sea, filling the bay with giant icebergs. Tracy Arm features the twin Sawyer Glaciers, while the enormous Dawes Glacier lies at the terminus of Endicott Arm. In the fjords' pristine waters, keep a lookout for humpback whales feeding while sea eagles soar above, and bears, wolves and deer roam in the surrounding forests.

Day 22: Wrangell
Sitting in the heart of the Tongass National Forest, Wrangell is a true Alaskan frontier town, deeply rooted in the Indigenous Tlingit culture and wildlife viewing. Spend your free time exploring the town independently, discovering the wealth of totems found throughout the town, or perhaps embark on an excursion to Anan Creek Bear Observatory, one of highlights in the region (additional expense).

Day 23: Rudyerd Bay (Misty Fjords)
Misty Fjord is a true wilderness area often shrouded in mist. Gaze in awe at soaring granite cliffs, dense forests of hemlock, spruce, and red cedar, home to wildlife including bears and wolves. Keep a lookout for sea lions, orca and humpback whales feeding in the fjord's pristine waters. There is an option to venture deep into Misty Fjord and explore its farthest and narrowest reaches by Zodiac or kayak (additional expense), inaccessible to larger vessels.

Day 24: Prince Rupert, British Columbia

Day 26: Albert Bay
Cormorant Island off the northeast caost of Vancouver Island is the traditional home of the ʼNa̱mǥis First Nations people, and accessible only by tender vessels. Here, you'll visit the small town of Alert Bay, brimming with heritage buildings, historic village houses and the vivid living culture of the ʼNa̱mǥis First Nation.
Day 27: Disembark Ship, Depart Vancouver
Your spectacular journey comes to an end today. Following breakfast, say goodbye and be transferred to the airport.
