Day 1: Perth and Kings Park Wildflower Festival
Meet your Botanical Guide and fellow travellers at your Perth hotel. This afternoon, explore Kings Park, which features 400 hectares of delightful gardens, parklands, native bushland and a spectacular display of more than 1,700 native species of wildflowers during spring. This evening, enjoy a Welcome Dinner at your hotel.
Day 2: Williams Woolshed, Kojonup Private Garden, Views of Stirling Ranges, and Albany
Today, enjoy a scenic drive to the celebrated town of Albany. On the way, visit the Williams Woolshed, a collection of retail stores and a cafe. Afterwards, visit a family garden in Kojonup and enjoy lunch. Later this afternoon we travel alongside the stunning farmlands while viewing the most scenic and iconic Stirling Range National Park. Arrive in Albany, Western Australia’s oldest European settlement, which is rich in colonial, naval and whaling history. Dinner will be at your hotel tonight.
Day 3: Torndirrup National Park, Regional Wildflower Garden and Private Garden
This morning we explore Albany, first with a stop at the Gap in the Torndirrup National Park, and enjoy the western views of the Southern Ocean. Afterwards, we visit the Regional Wildflower Garden, and wander its pathways, home to more than 100,000 indigenous plants. Enjoy free time in Albany for lunch. Later, visit a private garden and meet the owners. Dinner will be at your hotel tonight.
Day 4: Wilderness Eco Cruise, Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk and Margaret River
Travel to Walpole, from where you will embark on a fascinating cruise of the Walpole and Nornalup Inlets. These waterways offer rare glimpses of the forests and wildlife along Western Australia’s wild south coast. Afterwards, travel to Tingledale, where you can walk among the tree canopy as you explore the Valley of the Giants Tree Top walk. Enjoy a birds-eye view over giant tingle trees, some dating back 400 years. Later, travel to Margaret River, where we will stay for two nights.
Day 5: Margaret River Garden and Mammoth Cave
This morning we visit a lovely private garden in the Margaret River region and meet the owner. Afterwards, spend free time in Margaret River to explore the quaint shops and cafes. We then set out for Mammoth Cave, home to ancient fossil remains of long-extinct Australian megafauna.
Day 6: Fire & Beauty Garden, Orondo Garden and Fremantle
We head to a private coastal garden this morning, before travelling north to the small town of Dwellingup. Here we explore Orondo Farm Garden. Orondo Farm is made up of Orondo Gardens, Orondo Orchard and Orondo Vineyards. Enjoy a guided tour of the gardens and have lunch before travelling to Fremantle.
Day 7: Fremantle Private Garden
This morning you will visit a beautiful private garden not far from Fremantle, where you will enjoy a guided garden tour and morning tea. This evening is free for you to enjoy at your leisure.
Day 8: Bindoon Wildflower Farm, Geraldton and Wildflower Country
This morning, after breakfast, we travel to Bindoon to visit a native wildflower farm. Afterwards, on our way to Geraldton, we stop for some more wildflower viewing. Dinner will be at your hotel tonight.
Day 9: Mullewa Wildflower Experience and Wreath Flowers
After enjoying breakfast with a view of the Geraldton Harbour, we journey out to Mullewa. Explore the local area and discover the amazing diversity of wildflowers in season. Dinner will be at a local restaurant tonight.
Day 10: Nambung National Park, The Pinnacles and Perth
Departing Geraldton this morning, after breakfast, you will enjoy the trip south along the coast, stopping in Cervantes for lunch, before arriving at Nambung National Park. Marvel at ancient limestone pillars in the Pinnacles Desert. Arrive in Perth, where our tour concludes at the Pan Pacific Perth Hotel.
